David writes his blog from Philadelphia. His thoughts about work—particularly how you can make your work more productive for everyone who is impacted by it—come from trying to make a positive difference in many kinds of jobs, and never giving up the pursuit.

In a forthcoming book, David discusses some of what he’s learned over the years about how you can go about gaining deeper levels of satisfaction from the work that you do.

In this blog, he is interested in the different ways that people are pursuing what they value the most in their work, how they found or created these kinds of work opportunities for themselves, and how their lives are being changed for the better by the work they do everyday.  

Over the years, David has practiced law, helped to manage early-stage and established companies, and run a non-profit organization. Today, in addition to his speaking and writing, he helps parties in business disputes to resolve their differences.
